He subserved as principal investigator of many grant-funded research projects, is editor or member of the editorial board of several scientific journals, and is frequently requested as referee of scientific journals or funding agencies. Dr. Pezawas has been awarded several prestigious scientific awards. He has tremendous research experience mainly originating from his years at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, USA and his sabbatical as Visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, USA.
